BURGE SETS HIS FOCUS ON THE TITLE:

After quite a disappointing weekend in italy i really wanted to do better this weekend to prove a point. I went into this competition with hardly any riding time in between italy and this competition after the crashes i had, so i got there early and had a good practice session before the trial started. Everything seemed to be goin really well and did go well right the way through out the whole trial i found the sections real easy to get into and picked up a rythm really quick. I kept the rythm all the way through the trial only dropping 3 marks all day and winning the competition!! That made up for a bad weekend in italy im well happy with that result. Now ive only got one more round left in september being a euro cup and british round all in one, ill be getting loads of practise in for this last competition as i have got to win it in order to win the championship so fingers crossed!

EWARTS GLASTO BLOG

Vandal rider Ewart AKA Redbelly is back from Glastonbury after Djing in the West Dance Stage. For an early set (11.30am) there was a nice crowd (300-400) but it looked small in the 4000 capacity tent! On stage Redbelly rocked out in his Red Vandal V tee shirt playing some wonky house and techno to the early bird ravers. During the weekend all Vandal tees saw some action and some of the famous Glasto mud!If you like your dance music Ewart and crew will have their new website up in the next few weeks. www.jamthechannel.com

Burge signs in with a blog from italy.

Last weekend was the Italian european cup round which was held in a little village up in the mountains of northern italy, the weather was really nice the venue was really cool and the sections were very hard, it had been raining alot before we got there and the sections were thick with mud-roots and moss which made it really really slippery as i found out, havin two nasty crashes hitting my ribs on some sharp rocks which knocked the wind out of mr and put me off the whole trial really. After that i just plooded my way through the trial takin each section one at a time tryin to get through as best as i could and ended up finishing the trial in time and finishing in 10th place which i am happy about, with all things considered. It was also my best result in a european competition which is cool that will end the european comps for the year nicely!
